What is your choice?
Truth or lies
What holds you tonight?
You can open your heart
And allow it to change
Let go of the fear & feel the rain
Falling down from the Father above
He is near
Nearer than your broken heart
Closer than the doubts swirling inside
He’s holding you together
When you cannot feel
Hearing your soul’s cry
When you cannot speak
Catching every tear that falls silently
It’s here
In the storm
That He brings you peace
Rest in the middle of a restless sea
Praying beneath
A cloudy night sky
The last spray of sunset
Has just slipped by
A break in the clouds
Shows a faintly blue sky
Bursting as hope
In my soul tonight
That even though the darkness looms
Light is still shining through
Clear the clouds
In my soul
Shine Your light
Make me whole
Open my eyes
To the beauty
Around me
The earth and sky
Sing
Your praise abounding
Help me to hear
Your voice today
As it leads me gently
In the way
Please clear the clouds

On the back porch
Stargazing with my brother
Binoculars search the night
The Big Dipper in sight
The moon casts its silver light
Against my face
It’s so far away
With craters and rifts
And shades of gray
Stars around it
Twinkle bright
In this peaceful
Quiet night
Amazed by the Creator’s
Infinite might
To create such majesty
In the dark of night
Warmer days
Call me outside
I grab my guitar
And sing in the light
As birds whistle & freely fly
Spring bids winter
A sweet goodbye
Only Yeshua
Can save our souls
So dark & void & empty
Until we hear Him speak
Those words of old
Into our hearts
“Let there be light”
Overcomes the dark
And we’re born again
With a brand new start
When will the shadows turn to light
When will Zion be a delight?
When will her children walk in peace
When will violence leave her streets
When will the tears cease?
On You we wait
Like watchmen pray
Oh, defend this city
By Your great Name
Please send from above
Oh, heavenly Dove
And heal the Land
That You love
When you hug
Someone goodbye
For the last time
All the memories
Flood your heart
And fall freely
As the tears
Down your face
When you say
“I love you”
And let them go

When you know

Into His embrace

The meaning of life

Without Him
Completely dependent
Upon him
For every breath
Every day
