Uniquely its own
Tears & laughter
Hopes & dreams
Dance together in many scenes
The Author often brings a twist
I couldn’t have foreseen
And keeps this young lady guessing
Till the last page I read
But through it all
I see His hand
Gently guiding me
Revealing His plan
My heart has a story
Yours has one too
I’d love to hear
How He’s been faithful to you
Faithfulness
Perhaps He is silent
Because He cannot say
The answer you seek
In words today
Since it is time
Day after day
That shows faithfulness more
Than words can say
10 Years
In 10 years it’ll make sense
What I should’ve seen
Should’ve done
Should’ve known
That You were working
Through everything
For Your glory
In 10 years Your love will be sweeter
Your grace even deeper
As it’s carried me
Sanctified me
Changed me
In 10 years I’ll have more “thank Yous”
More reasons to trust You
More tears, more laughs
More hard lessons learned
More blessed-assurance
I’ll be closer to eternity
Closer to You
But if 10 years doesn’t come
And all I have is today
Did I live it right?
Am I ready
To step over the Jordan
To the New Jerusalem?
Am I ready to die
Am I ready to live

Infinite
If You created the infinite sky
Know each star by name
Measured the oceans
In the palm of Your hand
If mountains can be moved
And cast in the sea
By faith as small
As a mustard seed
If You are as big
As we can’t even dream
Then why in the world
Do I worry?
Heaven’s Sound
Oh when you hear
For the first time
The songs of eternity
Ringing in your ears
Then you will know
The most beautiful sound
That no one on earth
Has ever heard
Then you will hear
Those glorious words
“well done my faithful servant”
And though right now
You can’t hear us around
One day your hearing
Will be found
In majestic
Heaven’s sound
Fruits of the Spirit
Love will never ever change
Joy sings even in the pain
Peace falls like gentle rain
Patience is always happy to wait
Kindness shares abundant grace
Goodness is found in the humble way
Faithfulness rests in His embrace
Gentleness creates a quiet place
Self-control calls upon His Name
In everything to bring Him fame
This Little Heart
This little heart
Held in Your hands
Must surrender
And trust in Your plans
Sometimes it’s so hard
To know what will be
And at times I lose sight
Of Your goodness to me
Though You don’t promise to answer
Every question I have
You do promise to lead me
By Your rod and Your staff
And satisfy my soul
With all I could need
Oh, give me the faith to believe
That You are doing more
Than I could dream
Painting a picture
From heaven’s point of view
That will change the world
And bring glory to You
Oh, remind me that You
Hold the pen in Your hand
Help me to trust in Your plan
